What we’ll find interesting about this product? It’s not using the Cherry MX switches. This time it’s the 75% form factor wireless keyboard initially shown at the CES 2023. The last one from Asus ROG I had my hands on was the Claymore II (in 2021, a wireless 100% keyboard that earned a “Recommended” award). The Asus ROG Azoth keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. Overall we are very happy with the temperature results here. We used a Corsair H110i GT here for cooling. The processor idles at roughly 35 Degrees C. These, of course, are default results and not tweaked. Overall stress / load temperatures are very nice with temps at the ~60 C marker peaks. Unless you transcode video with the right software your average power consumption will be much lower. Next to that, we stress all CPU cores 100% and thus show peak power consumption. These parts all consume power, so these results are a subjective indication. Your attached components use power but your motherboard can also have additional ICs installed like an audio controller, 3 rd party chips, network controllers, extra SATA controllers, extra USB controllers, and so on. I want to make it very clear that power consumption measurements will differ per PC and setup. Your average PC can differ from our numbers if you add optical drives, HDDs, soundcards etc. Keep in mind that we measure the ENTIRE PC, not just the processor's power consumption. This number depends and will vary per motherboard (added ICs / controllers / wifi / bluetooth) and PSU (efficiency).
